Elderflower Wine Spritzer

Single

1/2 cup red wine

2 or 3 tbsp elderflower syrup

stir, then add ice

top with heavy splash of sparkling water to give it a zing

He recommends a sweet red wine. Favorite is Black Box Red Blend.

Can use frozen fruit in place of some ice. Raspberries.

I like adding a couple Luxardo cherries as a hidden little surprise at the end.
